Located on a hilltop with amazing views of the surrounding countryside, this hotel is a gem. The spacious rooms are comfortable, with clean and modern bathrooms. The breakfast buffet is varied and delicious with plenty of options for everyone. The staff are friendly and attentive, making any stay more enjoyable.

One downside of the hotel is the lack of a gym, but with the beautiful vineyards just a short walk away, there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor exercise.

The evening meals we had were all excellent and the staff were really helpful. The location was superb with a magnificant view over the town and Marienburg castle and no traffic! Wonderful! Would have been happy to pay a bit more for a higher quality breakfast.

Receptionist staff were unhelpful - I needed to contact home urgently and it was not possible to make an international phone call; they were not sure whether the computer in reception was working or not and left it to another guest standing there to tell me that I could log on to the internet in the restaurant. Also completely unconcerned that our shower was broken.

Excellent views over the valley and the old and new towns or Wurzburg.Room was spacious and had a mini bar/fridge, which is useful when the weather is warm.There was a good choice of breakfast which was replenished regularly. Hotel is a little out of the town (40 mins walk down a very steep hill) so you need a car to get about. Overall a lovely welcoming hotel

They were rebuilding the hotel. We were not informed about this. Not amusing after being in the car for 8 hours...

The hotel is undergoing major extension work so the access/parking and check in were a mess! Had we known this in advance we would not have stayed there.

Fine view from top floor room,across city to vineyards beyond. Pleasant walk,by various routes through Marienburg fortress,down hill to town.The staff were most helpful with advice and there was an efficient in -house laundry service.

Building work would make car parking difficult at present.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel nestled on a hill above a charming city, surrounded by picturesque vineyards. The location was absolutely breathtaking, offering a panoramic view that took my breath away.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. There was nothing that could be improved upon.
